Assured Weather Resistance, the sealant is protected from severe seam stresses during high wind uplift because of its position within the seam. The patented panel clip provides even greater air and water resistance, as it doesn’t interfere with the side lap sealant seal. Fool-proof seaming says goodbye to damaged panels from seamers that run off-course.
With this style of roof system, even an inexperienced operator can easily accomplish a good seam. Our seam is larger by design, allowing the seamer to lock onto the seam and stay locked in until the seam is completed.
Unlike other systems on the market, the roof system does not require seaming as each individual panel is being installed. This is because the panel seam is partially formed automatically as the panels are placed, allowing seaming to be accomplished after the entire roof has been installed. The result is a roof that is installed quickly, efficiently and without costly wear and tear caused by excess traffic along the unfinished roof.

The Double-Lok® roof panel is ideal for industrial, commercial and architectural applications. When used in a Retrofit application, Double-Lok® increases energy efficiency and longevity of the structure.

DOUBLE-LOK®
Double-Lok®
Double-Lok® panels are available in 18-inch and 24-inch widths. The Double-Lok® roof panel is a mechanically field-seamed, trapezoidal leg standing seam roof system. Double-Lok® requires a minimum slope of ¼:12 and is UL-90 and FM rated with Miami Dade County approvals.
Double-Lok® Retrofit - If you're looking to upgrade your roof to a standing seam, then installing our Double-Lok® roof panel over your existing R panel roof without the need for sub-framing is an excellent choice. Installing a Double-Lok® trapezoidal standing seam over an existing R panel roof allows for an upgrade to a high performance, long-lasting roof while preserving the diaphragm and purlin stability provided by the existing R panel roof. There are two options to increase energy efficiency when using the Double-Lok® panel over an existing R panel. The first is adding two-inch unfaced fiberglass insulation between the existing R panel and the new Double-Lok® panel. The second is to vent the cavity between the old and new roofs by adding a vent strip at the eave to allow air intake and a vented ridge to provide for air exhaust. This method works well with roof slopes of 3:12 or greater. When choosing the Double-Lok® option, high clips are used to provide clearance between it and the major ribs of the existing R panel.

We offer a selection of coatings designed to protect your metal panels including Galvalume Plus®, Signature® 200 and Signature® 300. Our galvalume plus R panels are designed to resist damage from rust. PBR metal panels can be installed vertically or horizontally and are considered a staple. R Panels are customizable in numerous ways, including coatings, purlin-bearing legs, substrates and more. You can choose from a wide assortment of colors in two different paint systems to really enhance your metal wall paneling. These PBR panels are through-fastened panels that can be installed directly over purlins or joists.
